New year, new beer
2024 brings us to a new year, and new opportunities to hang out, share homebrew, and learn!
On February 13, 2024 we held our annual officer election and had our chili cook-off at Middle Ground Brewing Company! It was a great turn out, that saw chili judged on four categories:
- Best Overall
- Best Traditional
- Hottest Chili, and
- Weirdest or most unique ingredient
Your winners, in respective order, are:
- Jimmy Stephens with a Nashville Hot Chicken Chili
- Joshua Jackson with a traditional homestyle red chili, and
- Adrian Oldham getting the nod for hottest and most unique ingredient (cricket powder).
Officer elections also happened, and we are announcing that there is no change in leadership from FY 2023 to FY 2024. Your Council of Elders are:
- Joshua Jackson
- Amanda Bimson
- Glenn Thompson, and
- Adrian Oldham
