February Meeting & Chili Cook Off

Hey brew crew, we hope 2022 is starting off great. Let’s talk about our February meeting. We do a chili cook-off each year and this year it is cold enough that we need chili more than ever. We are going to have a few categories and prizes will be awarded for each. The categories are
1. Hottest
2. Most unique
3. Best chili with beer as a forward ingredient.
4. Best chili overall.
We will provide bowls and spoons to eat with. Bring items if your chili requires anything special to be along with it, otherwise a main group of condiments will be supplied like cheese and sour cream. Please bring the chili in a crockpot if you can and a serving spoon for your chili… I will be posting a sign-up sheet so we can get an idea of how many people will be bringing chili. Everyone will be voting for each category and we will be offering chili to any customers that happen to be in there when we are eating. They will also be asked to vote.
The chili will be the main event at this meeting, we are going to have a discussion about the vision for the group in 2022. After that, we will discuss a topic in the realm of education. Then we will eat chili. We will not be passing beer at the meeting. The meeting will be on February 5th from 3-whenever at deep south growlers.
